Cruising is a great way to see the world in comfort.

I have had many exciting personal cruise experiences which I use often when helping a client choose a destination or find the right ship and accommodations.

I've been on 18 cruises on 7 different cruise lines. I've cruised the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Mexico, Canada, Alaska Northern Europe and a Transatlantic Crossing and have been lucky enough to acquaint myself with many different ships.

Each cruise I take I'm always making mental notes of what kind of customer would enjoy that cruise line or that Island, or this sightseeing experience, or this or that type stateroom. When I talk to a client, these mental notes help me answer their questions and make reality out of what they are visualizing.

A stand-out experience for me was being in Eqypt and riding a camel!

Because I love cruising so much, it's a pleasure for me to help clients create their own experiences through cruising.


One area of expertise that I have is handling groups.

Incentive Groups - An incentive trip is a reward trip. It needs to be special. It needs to be problem free. It needs to be to a place people will love and it needs to have accommodations that people will always remember. A company wants to have a really nice incentive trip, but, there are budgets, time constraints and other factors which make it especially complex to choose a destination, a hotel and all the elements.

I do several incentive trips each year, usually with 25 to 50 participants. It takes a lot of planning and attention to detail, but they are always successful.

Cruise Groups: People love cruising together whether it be a group of friends, a family reunion, or an organization. It requires the ability to deal with everyone as a group, yet, treat them all as individuals. This is what I try to do with each group, while working closely with the group leader.

Wedding Groups: A Destination Wedding is probably the most important trip in someone's life. And a bride doesn't want to be involved in everyone's personal travel plans. That's where I come in. I've been to literally hundreds of properties where Destination Weddings are held and I can help from the very beginning by sharing my knowledge of these properties until the very end when everyone is booked, paid and on their trip.


One of my favorite things about my job as a travel agent is the opportunity to work with couples planning a Destination Wedding or Honeymoon.

I have traveled many times to Mexico and the Caribbean to learn about and personally inspect resorts which lend themselves to a romantic setting. Many of these resorts have constructed Wedding Chapels and/or provide services such as setting up guest chairs or pews for a beachside wedding service. And many of them also offer on-site wedding planners to assist the couple with flowers, colors, decor, music...every detail.

The only way to compare all the various properties and offerings is by personally visiting them, something impossible for a couple to do. But because I've seen so many properties first hand and, at some of them, have personal contacts that I use to benefit my clients, I am able to help a couple identify the best property for them, their guests and budget.

Once a decision is made about where the wedding will be, I become the contact person for all the guests and I handle everything, keeping the couple updated along the way.

It is very rewarding and exciting to be a part of something to special, and I love it.
